These terms and conditions govern the use of the Portugal Social Inovação Mission Unit (EMPIS) website.
Content on the EMPIS website is protected by copyright and related rights, as well as by industrial property rights, under Portuguese and EU law and may not be used for purposes other than those permitted in this website’s terms of use without prior consent from the EMPIS.
The intellectual property rights of all of the EMPIS’s content that do not encompass external supply and, consequently, are not properly identified, are the property of the EMPIS, including information, tools, graphics, images, charts or texts. The EMPIS shall not be liable for any encroachment or misuse of the aforementioned content, except as permitted under law, namely the right to quote, provided the source thereof is clearly identified.
The content of this website may not be copied, changed or distributed, unless explicitly authorised by the EMPIS.

The EMPIS reserves the right to suspend access to its website for as long as it deems fit for any technical, administrative or any other reason that may arise and not directly provided for herein, or due to force majeure.
All attempts to tamper with the website’s content or structure and related environments, or any other act that could cause damage and pose a threat to the system’s integrity will be subject to legal proceedings.
All content is current. However, and given the connection to various different entities used as sources of information for the EMPIS website, content may not always be up-to-date, despite all efforts made to ensure it is. As such, the EMPIS shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages or losses incurred by any user related to the information available on this website.

Privacy Policy

The Portugal Inovação Social Mission Unit, hereinafter referred to as EMPIS, respects your right to privacy and does not collect any personal information on this website without consent from its respective data subjects.
Personal information is only collected with consent from the respective data subject, given explicitly in writing, when subscribing to our Newsletter, submitting suggestions to the EMPIS website, registering for events, or taking part in Q&A sessions held by our Technical Activation Team.
Any personal information you provide us will be processed using the security and confidentially measures set forth in Portuguese Data Protection Law (Law No. 67/98, of 26 October) and in Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, in particular the lawfulness of processing such data, the inability to use said data for purposes other than those indicated, as well as the data subject’s right to have his or her data updated, rectified or deleted.
Any personal information collected will only be used for the purpose of sending our Newsletter, invitations for events and information related to the Portugal Inovação Social initiative, as well as to respond to suggestions submitted to the EMPIS website.
All users are entitled to cancel services they have subscribed to through this website, which will result in their respective records being deleted. To this end, please send an e-mail to geral@inovacaosocial.portugal2020.pt or follow the link to the website www.inovacaosocial.portugal2020.pt to cancel your subscriptions.
The EMPIS also ensures you of the right to restrict and to object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to portability thereof, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time, which you can exercise by sending an e-mail to the aforementioned address or by visiting the EMPIS website.
Collected data will only be stored for as long as the EMPIS is in operation.
Our website contains links to other websites (run by third parties and not by the EMPIS), which we believe may provide useful information. Our privacy policy does not cover these websites. Please contact them directly for information on their privacy policies, non-disclosure agreements and data reception/distribution procedures.
The only information we collect and store automatically during your use of our website is the usual information on server activity, used to generate statistics and measure web traffic to improve your use thereof.
