To create conditions to encourage greater engagement and to motivate students and teachers, and actively contribute to improved school performance, this intervention will be project-based and not subject-based. Thus, 3 weekly 90-minute sessions will be held during the academic year, in which 3 projects will be implemented (Educ’Arte, Vila Utopia and Pequenos Heróis). By enriching the syllabus, this project will enable the Chamusca School Cluster to adopt a new methodology that is more student-centric and that not only bolsters the edutainment aspect, but also helps develop skills in students that are not developed by the traditional syllabus. At Tempos Brilhantes, teachers don’t teach. Instead, they are facilitators and, first and foremost, mentors for Innovation in Education.
