The Ensinar é Voar programme is a tool that helps to promote the school success of all students, to update the skills profiles of students and teachers and encourage the advancement required of teaching methods (learn by doing), demonstrating that the system does not need to undergo radical change in order for public schools to be truly inclusive and accessible to all children. The project proposes to implement and use the VOAR teaching model in Oliveira do Hospital, a municipality in Coimbra, central Portugal. This model is committed to the humanistic education of children, implemented with project-based learning, where students increase their knowledge while learning to value it and learning to be independent, accountable and enterprising. Based on five themes, designed and arranged according to the stages of development of children at the various levels of education/ages (Me and Others, The School Environment, The Regional Environment, Portuguese Space and Time, Humankind in Space and Time, and Strengthening Portuguese and Mathematics Learning), students successfully achieve core 1st Cycle Basic Education learning milestones.
